Favorites: November 2012

Hi everyone! I know I have been slacking when it comes to these monthly favorites. Hopefully I can keep them going especially with the new year coming up and all the new goodies that come along with the holidays.

This month's favorites only consists of a few makeup items due to not wearing much lately. I also have some hair products and body products I have been loving in November.

Now let's get on with my favorites for this month!

Bath & BodyWorks Wallflowers Fragrance Plug and Wallflowers Fragrance Bulb in Leaves:

I love love love the leaves scent they have! One of these can make my whole living room smell so good! Everyone that comes over always asks me what that smell is and that they love it. Also, isn't that pumpkin plug the cutest?

Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Dollface:

Lately my go to blush I am always reaching for is my Tarte Dollface blush! Love it! It has to be the perfect pink blush. Also perfect for when I just can't decide what blush to pick.

Nars Blush in Orgasm:

Also a blush I have been reaching for lately. To me it seems like the perfect color for fall.

Smith's Rosebud Salve:

I think I may have mentioned this in another one of my monthly favorites, but who cares right? When it is this amazing it needs another shout out! I can't live without it! I can't even count how many times I apply this to my lips in a day. With it starting to get cold here and my heat in my house so dry, this is perfect for those dry and chapped lips! Also great for cuticles!

Yogi Detox Tea:

A very good friend of mine recommended this tea to me a couple of years ago and I fell in love with it. This tea helps promote healthy liver and kidney functions. So whenever I am feeling alittle sluggish or just feel like I'm not myself, I grab one of these. For more information on this tea and other Yogi tea they have click here. I usually get this tea at my local grocery store or some health food stores may carry them.

Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask:

This is my all time favorite mask! I'm sure everyone has heard of it. It helps dry up acne pimples, rinse away blackheads, and shrinks enlarged pores. I use this mask once to twice a week. I love how different my skin looks and feels after I use it. I recommended it to my mom and she also loves it. I also use it on my daughter who has recently started having acne problems and it works great!

TRESemme Split Remedy Shampoo, Conditioner, and Leave-In Conditioning Spray:

I picked up the shampoo and conditioner at the beginning of November because I was in desperate need for a new shampoo and conditioner. Thought I would try something new and at a drugstore price and fell in love! Smells amazing and leaves my hair super soft. The leave-in spray I had for awhile and have come to realise that I can't live without it! Great detangler spray also and smells amazing too!

DKNY - pureDKNY Verbena:

A few months ago when I purchased some things with Ulta I received a sample of this parfum. I sort of put it off somewhere and forgot about it. When I found it this month I couldn't believe I had tossed off to the side! I wore it on Thanksgiving when we had our family dinner, I had two cousins ask me what I was wearing. Love it and definitely looking into purchasing a bigger bottle.

Secret Clinical Strength Deodorant in ooh-la-la lavender:

This is the only deodorant I can wear. I usually go for the original light and fresh scent, but when I ran out I decided to try a different scent. Love this deodorant and love this scent!

Bath & BodyWorks Fragrance Mist in Honey Autumn Apple:

This spray smells so yummy! It came out with their fall collections so I'm not sure if they still have this scent. If you do come across it, have a sniff! Bath & BodyWorks describes it as - a fresh blend of crisp red apple, sparkling nectarine, and a touch of honey. I really hope they bring this scent back next fall!

That is all for my favorites for this month! I can't wait for next month's favorites it should be great with the holidays.

I hope you all have a great weekend!

xoxo, Alicia

    1. Before I used the TRESemme, I was using one of the John Frieda shampoo and conditioners. Which I was actually leaning more at the TRESemme line before purchasing the John Frieda, the John Frieda did nothing to my hair but made it worse! So happy to have tried the TRESemme! Really does leave hair super soft! Great products!

  2. Is the Deodorant up to the task of protecting a silk blouse later this week at a job
    Interview?

    1. The only bad thing about the deodorant is that it can leave some white marks on dark clothing. Atleast with me it has. Usually wiping it away with some warm water on a washcloth works.

For me it is still a great antiperspirant and I can tend to sweat alot sometimes. So I guess it depends on the person. I have been using the clinical strength deodorant for a few years now as it seems to be the only one that works for my body.
